Evidence & Publications

What is published, what is preliminary, and what sits under NDA.

We separate these deliberately. A peer-reviewed result is citable and independent of us; a pilot deliverable is generated for you. Both are useful — they are not the same thing, and we do not present them as if they were.

Peer-reviewed publication

Oxidative stress mediated by gyrophoric acid from Umbilicaria hirsuta affected apoptosis and stress/survival pathways in HeLa cells

Isolation protocol validated by HPLC and NMR; antiproliferative and pro-apoptotic activity, oxygen radical formation and stress/survival protein changes measured by flow cytometry.

Peer-reviewed publication · comparative dataset

A comparative study of isolated secondary metabolites from lichens and their antioxidative properties

Seven metabolites isolated and NMR-confirmed, then compared by amount of substance rather than weight, in DPPH and superoxide anion scavenging assays. 3-hydroxyphysodic acid showed the strongest scavenging activity of the compounds tested.

Peer-reviewed publication · screening panel

Screening evaluation of antiproliferative, antimicrobial and antioxidant activity of lichen extracts and secondary metabolites in vitro

Extracts of seven lichen species and four isolated metabolites assessed for antiproliferative activity in 2D and 3D spheroid models, plus DPPH antioxidant and in vitro antimicrobial testing.

Peer-reviewed publication · enzyme conditions

Specific anion effect on properties of HRV 3C protease

Five sodium anions tested against catalytic and conformational properties of HRV 3C protease using CD, tyrosine fluorescence, DSC and molecular dynamics. Kosmotropic anions increased stability and rigidity, consistent with the Hofmeister effect.

Data package under NDA

Platform data for Portfolio B

Method detail, validation data and reported outcomes for the staphylokinase screening, dehalogenase engineering, stability, purification, GPCR feasibility and aggregation platforms are shared under NDA rather than published on this site.

Analytical & pilot deliverables

What a pilot produces

HPLC/LC-MS profiles, assay protocols and raw readouts, a written technical report, and — where the scope calls for it — a shortlist of active candidates with the data behind the ranking. Deliverables are agreed in the pilot proposal before work starts.

Applies to: A1–A7, B1–B7, and Models 03–05
