C1 + C2 Organic Synthesis · Combined offer

Separate hROS/RNS-driven effects from enzyme-catalysed ones — inside a single experimental system.

Aminophenyl fluorescein (APF, C26H17NO5, 433.42 g/mol) detects hypochlorite, hydroxyl radical and peroxynitrite with minimal response to H2O2, superoxide, NO and singlet oxygen. Nitrophenyl fluorescein (NPF, C26H15NO7, 463.40 g/mol) reports enzyme-mediated hydrolysis as an absorbance and fluorescence change. Both are synthesised to order, in the quantity and purity your assay actually needs, by the Department of Organic Chemistry at UPJŠ.

Analytical characterisation is supplied with every batch. Custom reporter substrate design is available under NDA. Supplied for laboratory research use.

The problem this solves

Probe catalogues sell a fixed vial at a fixed specification. If your assay needs a different quantity, a different purity, or a modified reporter, the catalogue has no answer — and a custom synthesis house wants a minimum order that does not match a screening campaign. That gap is what this panel is for.

C1 + C2 — Combined offer

APF + NPF Fluorescent Probe Panel

For groups working on oxidative stress biology, enzyme activity profiling or antioxidant screening, APF and NPF are also offered as a combined panel. Their complementary selectivity profiles let you separate hROS/hRNS-mediated effects (APF) from enzyme-catalysed transformations (NPF) inside a single experimental system.

Aminophenyl Fluorescein (APF)

Cell-permeable, photostable probe for selective detection of highly reactive oxygen and nitrogen species. On reaction with hROS/hRNS it is cleaved to release free fluorescein, giving a strong signal on standard microscopes, flow cytometers and plate readers.

Nitrophenyl Fluorescein (NPF)

A substrate and reporter group for enzymatic and bioanalytical assays. Enzyme-mediated hydrolysis or reduction of the nitrophenyl ester bond changes absorbance and fluorescence, producing an optical signal proportional to enzyme activity or analyte concentration.

Common questions

What quantities can you make?
Quantities and purity are agreed per project. Tell us the assay format and scale and we will quote against it.
How long does a batch take?
Lead time is confirmed with the quote and depends on the compound and quantity. TODO: confirm typical lead time with the Department of Organic Chemistry.
Do you supply analytical data?
Yes. Analytical characterisation is supplied with the material.
Can you modify the reporter?
Yes — custom reporter substrate design is available under NDA.
Are these for clinical or consumer use?
No. Both are supplied for laboratory research use only.
How does an engagement start?
With a free 30-minute discovery call. We establish whether there is a fit and what the right next step is. Nothing is committed at that point.
Can we sign an NDA before we describe our project?
Yes. Tick the NDA box on the inquiry form and we arrange it before any disclosure.
Are the prices on this site binding?
No. They are indicative ranges so that you can size a project before contacting us. Final terms are negotiated per scope.
How quickly do you reply?
Every inquiry is acknowledged within one working day and answered by the responsible group leader within three.
What happens if you cannot help?
We say so, early, and where we can we point you to someone who can. A negative feasibility answer delivered quickly is a useful result.
